Last January while in NYC, we overheard another buyer say, before she abruptly stomped out of the showroom, "Well, I see chevron isn't going anywhere".  She's right, the zig zags are everywhere.  But dating back to 1800 B.C, the chevron pattern isn't exactly new on the scene.
